Day 4 : Sunday Market, Pulau Manukan and Sapi
Sunday, 12 August 2007
Jalan Gaya is the next street parallel to Jalan Pantai where our hotel locates. Every
Sunday morning, the length of Gaya Street is closed off to traffic to make way for the
Fair.

People can shop for anything under the over-sized umbrellas, like batik sarongs, fruits
and flowers, arts and craft, footwear, antiques and souvenirs, cakes, even pets and
herbs!.

The market starts about 6.30am till noon. We also went there to try out our bargaining
skill. haha...we bought famous Kudat peanuts (RM8.5 per pack).

In the afternoon, we went to a nearby boat jetty, took a speadboat to Pulau Manukan
and Sapi for a half day tour. The islands of Manukan and Sapi have the best beaches
in Borneo. Crystal clear waters and a wealth of marine life.

We didn't go for snorking nor diving, we had done a lot snorking in Pulau Redang,
Pulau Perhentian, Phi-Phi island before. We were just strolling along the beach and
enjoy the tranquil seaside.

At 4pm, we hopped on to the last boat back to the mainland.

The dinner today was at the Ocean City. It happened to be the most
